Grunty Fen is populated by so many characters, and even when they're gone they can still be the cause of discontent. In the first episode on this collection from July 2003 we hear about the late 'Cuckoo' Johnson, who - if he'd been still living - would have saved Dennis from injury.

Then Dennis tries to tempt Mr South to a brawn horn from the Fancies Factory as they attend Grunty Fen's Beauty Pageant. After that, Dennis takes Mr South into the Bathroom Shed, which is also a museum - and we do recommend you go to the loo before listening to the running water.

Finally, Dennis and his fiancee Maudie Deeks are contemplating a holiday home swap with someone from abroad.

Warning: Some listeners may find Dennis's language offensive. Mr South did.

And never forget Gran's wise words: 'Suet don't hover.'

Running time: 47 minutes of Fen logic for you to try to follow.

First broadcast: July 2003

Available as a proper CD through the post or a zipped-up download package.
