A treat for anyone who likes a laugh and is not afraid of the consequences.

Dennis finds a school photograph jammed up against the back of the chiffonier drawer and tells Mr South about the various characters from his schooldays, including Tippary Tom, Dulcie Loverage, Winston Cornfoot and others. He also sings some of his songs such as: Me Tortoise, Rain Rain Rain, Pylons, Big Ole Gal, Blast Me Cor Da Hell and Gran's Cure.

As Mr South says: 'We never know what next Dennis or his Granny will find in their chiffonier drawer. I never cease to marvel at the sheer variety and quantity of items stored in that single drawer of the small sideboard standing in one corner of the LNER parlour: everything from the bookmark Gran carried in her prayer book the day she was married more than 70 years ago to the throttle linkage trunnion grommets from a 1957 Caterpillar tractor. So the photograph described in this encounter with Dennis merely scratches the surface of the chiffonier drawer...'
