This collection comes from Jan/Feb 1991. It’s New Year and Dennis has a list of jobs to do, but things are preying on his mind. Why is he waiting for a freeze? And what links a piano, a lavatory and cheese?

What does Dennis blame the high winds on? What’s causing Gran’s cough? Why should you only read books you don’t understand?

Dennis is full of questions, but they leave Mr South confused. What has shattered Dennis’s dreams? Why is Miss Edwards content with a bit of pilfering? What’s a Mighty Glad?

What doesn’t Dennis want Gran – and Mr South – to see? How did he perform miracles? What did he use to heat his tea? And what does ‘New D’ mean? And what’s Al Jolson got to do with the Venerable Bede? Will Mr South crack the code?

Be warned: this CD contains Nitromors, junglenauts, expansion joints, a pheasant, film stars, a Cossack number, slop buckets, soup, galvanised, ferret droppings, Quinquagesima and specialised muck. Oh, and we think it’s the first time Mr South finds out about the Gladlen.

Running time: Spend an hour and a quarter in another world.

Available as a CD or a download.
